Modern Steam Room and Sauna Design and Production !
This project was developed for a contemporary wellness center in the UK, where the goal was to create a refined, modern atmosphere rooted in material harmony and clean architectural language.
The steam room was designed with a strong emphasis on travertine, chosen for its natural texture, warmth, and timeless elegance. To enhance the visual continuity, the mosaic tiles were carefully selected to match the tone and character of the travertine. This combination creates a seamless, sculptural environment where surfaces feel unified rather than layered. The result is an artistic yet minimal space that balances luxury with subtlety.
For the sauna, the design direction focused on a modern reinterpretation of traditional sauna principles. The heater was intentionally embedded within the bench composition, transforming a functional element into an integrated architectural feature. This approach maintains visual purity while introducing a distinctive design identity. Clean lines, balanced proportions, and controlled lighting contribute to a calm, immersive experience.
Both spaces were conceived to sit side by side, sharing a cohesive design language while preserving their individual character.
The project reflects a deliberate move away from conventional spa aesthetics, aligning instead with a modern, minimal vision defined by clarity, material integrity, and spatial atmosphere.
From concept development to design detailing and production planning, the entire project was created from scratch, ensuring full control over form, proportion, and user experience.
